ErtheChilde is a hobby writer and high school history teacher based in Quebec, Canada. An avid reader since childhood, she discovered fanfiction in the summer of 2001 and started writing under the pseudonym KuriQuinn in January 2002. Since then, she has penned several works (most of which are incomplete due to her pursuit of post-secondary studies in Classics, History and Education). She is currently working on her first novel, an urban fantasy, when she isn’t being distracted by her favorite Science Fiction and Fantasy Series. Which happens pretty much on a daily basis lately.

Jan 3 2016 Update: Hello Everyone! Happy New Year! Sorry for the lack of updates over the past little while, I continue to be struggling with school stuff. Lots of grading and tutoring and student related drama to deal with, so I haven't been able to keep a good schedule. I will try to tentatively have an update every weekend, depending on if my planned curriculum goes as, well, planned. I did spend the holidays completely re-editing From This Day Forward, Kindred Spirits and Worth A Thousand Words , as well as adding cover art to all of them. WATW is also on Inkitt, entered in the January fanfiction contest, if you feel like voting on it. My next goal is to finish Parched, as the outline for it has been sitting on my hard drive for months now and it's time that story was resolved. Thanks, as usual, to everyone who has followed, favorited or reviewed me in the past year, you have no idea what it means to me and how uplifting that can be on my bad days. Love you all! EC

However, as always, Time’s plans are a little different from his own. Despite the instant connection he and Rose share, the first days of their friendship are heavily marred by the shadows of the Time War. As the Doctor struggles to heal his damaged psyche, he must decide whether it’s possible to go back to who he used to be – and if he even wants to. Meanwhile, Rose faces her own challenges in adapting to a universe that is just a little bit more complex than she could ever have imagined.
