Thanks to my inattentiveness while filling in forms, I am now stuck with a typo in my username. The shame, it burns.
I\'m a 30-something living the international life of academic vagrancy. I\'ve written off and on over the years, in a multitude of fandoms. I started writing Star Trek as a kid, but it spread from there.
I watched Doctor Who when I was young, and had mad little-girl crushes on both the third and seventh Doctors. I discovered the rebooted series, and the tenth Doctor rapidly wormed his way into my heart, inspiring me to write once again.
I have a soft spot for the Jack/Doctor pairing, but I love just about anything with a good story.

One cagey and lonely Time Lord, one slightly worse-for-wear immortal, and one looming uncomfortable personal issue - yep, this was gonna be a blast. A sequel to The Delicate Art of Babysitting the Slightly Intoxicated.

“Now just one second. For your information, this,” the Doctor said with disgust, waving his hands up and down as though to offer himself as the specimen of an experiment gone wrong, “is not drunk.” He pointed a finger accusingly at Jack. “This, my dear Captain Jack, is poisoned."

The Truth of the Matter by idelthoughts [Reviews - 24]
Jack thought springing the Doctor would be the tough part of their escape, but when the Doctor succumbs to the drugs used to interrogate him, things get a lot more complicated.

The Truth of the Matter: After Dark by idelthoughts [Reviews - 9]
A cut scene from the ending of The Truth of the Matter. A very adult, extremely gratuitous cut scene.

Friends with benefits don't spend the night. Do they? Then again, they're not supposed to get jealous or fall in love, either. Still, that doesn't seem to be stopping anybody.

The library. Come as soon as you can. How many times would those words turn up on his psychic paper? It was always unpleasant to have the past come knocking unexpectedly.
