Okay, no it isn't. It's not new. And that very concept is, in itself, new.
Actually, rare but not unprecedented. Happened to James once.
Went after some bloke when ... oh yes, Tracy. Went back to his previous body when he got angry, got distracted, missed a few details. That one managed to get affairs back in order. Something about a diamonds in a satellite?
You, this new you, old you, is complicating things, not good, not helpful. Keep it simple.
And in years to come, you might find yourself revisiting a few. But just the old favourites, eh?
Didn't expect repeats so soon - regeneration into a previous self. Well, considering two forced regenerations in short order, it's lucky I didn't become a Dalek's less attractive cousin.
There's an element of adaptation with regeneration. Not so random. Really should have paid attention in those classes.
Old body literally. It's older than before. Parts not fitting together as smoothly as I remember.
Although, old body means less or no post-regeneration trauma. Good. Might need to start running immediately.
Not to mention the clothing change is a red flag, big, huge red flag. Feature in the TARDIS that never worked outside and never again at all and really should have fixed up instead of stocking up on a massive wardrobe.
Deviating from issue, focus.
Focus.
New clothes with old body. Hints of deliberate tampering.
Somebody is playing games with me.
Can't be the Master; why do this if he can't gloat?
Who and why, would love to find out. Have to find out.
Should pay attention now. Gather information. Assess. Process. Act.
