1. Chapter 1 [Reviews - 1] (832 words)
Takes place after New Who Series 9 episode Face the Raven. However in this universe the Doctor hasn't been teleported away into the location for Heaven Sent. Also, I'm ignoring the whole Series 6B thing for reasons that you'll see later.
Disclaimer: Sadly, not my characters. Even though I've been a Doctor Who fan for many years, this is my very first DW fanfic. It's unbetaed, so any mistakes are mine and mine alone.
6. Chapter 6 [Reviews - 0] (3153 words)
Again, I'm sorry I've taken so long with this one (though I hope it's worth the wait!). I've got some ideas for the next chapter so hopefully I'll have that one up a bit sooner. Also, the Doctor's telling of what happened to Clara in Face the Raven sounds pretty basic but I wrote that from Jamie's POV so I didn't think it was necessary to go into such detail.
9. Chapter 9 [Reviews - 0] (4848 words)
Longer chapter this time! Hopefully it will make up for the delay. I guess I probably went overboard with some of the angst between the Doctor and Jamie here, but once I get started I can't stop, lol...
13. Chapter 13 [Reviews - 0] (3137 words)
Sorry for the delay... it was actually a bit hard for me to write this chapter. I know things seem to be taking a depressing turn and that may continue a bit in the next chapter, but I promise I will end the story on a more positive note.
14. Chapter 14 [Reviews - 0] (4685 words)
Sorry it took me so long to update. It was actually a bit hard for me to write this chapter. I loved writing Jamie with the 12th Doctor and I'm sad that it had to come to an end, although as the last line says, "or is it?" I actually have plans for a series that will be a sort of sequel to this, mainly centering on Jamie and his ensuing adventures (trying to come up with a name for the series right now...if anyone has any suggestions I'd be happy to hear them!). So, yes, I will have more! Maybe not so much with the 12th Doctor, but there will be more. Thanks to everyone who stayed with this story. I enjoyed writing it!
