Summary: The Doctor has a good excuse for everything he does.
“But…” Martha grabbed the Doctor by the arm as he went to open the door. “Didn’t they tell us outsiders aren’t allowed in there? It’s where they keep their most sacred religious objects. Even their priests are only allowed in twice a year!”
The Doctor waved his hand. “Religion, superstition, I never bother with all that fiddle-faddle. Something in here isn’t what they think it is, and if we don’t do something about it, soon there won’t be anyone left to get annoyed with me for trespassing on sacred ground.”
“Why?”
“There’ll be a gigantic crater instead of a village.”
