Summary: Travelling in the TARDIS might not always be the smoothest ride, but thereâs no more thrilling way to see the universe.
The TARDIS might not fly in the generally accepted manner, but that didn’t make her any less of a spacecraft. She traversed the vacuum of space just as effectively as any more streamlined ship, and got from one planet to another considerably faster than most could manage. She also had the advantage of being easier to land. The Doctor could set her down practically anywhere.
“Hold on tight! Off we go!”
As the TARDIS spun and whirled her way through the vortex, the Doctor leaped around the console, working her controls.
He couldn’t imagine a more exciting way to travel.
