Written for Challenge 625: Sixth Doctor Titles at dw100, using The Mysterious Planet.
Summary: There are a lot of mysteries in the universe that the Doctor has yet to solve.
It’s a vast universe, even the Doctor can’t claim to have been everywhere despite his centuries of travel. There are whole galaxies he’s never had occasion to visit, and many solar systems that have never drawn his attention, so it’s hardly a surprise when he stumbles across a mysterious planet at the edge of a very uninspiring star cluster.
The thing is, planets always orbit stars, only this one isn’t. Without the warmth of a sun, life can’t exist, and yet the TARDIS is picking up life signs. That’s impossible!
