Summary: The Doctor's new incarnation is growing on Clara.
It makes an odd sort of sense to Clara that the Doctor now talks with what sounds a lot like a Scottish accent. Scots are known to be shrewd people, careful with their money, cautious in their business dealings, good at negotiating, and this new version of her old friend is certainly all of that.
He’s also blunt, tactless, and arrogant, but nobody’s perfect.
She still misses the clumsily endearing exuberance of the Doctor’s previous incarnation, but this one is growing on her. He’s not quite as reckless, more likely to think before acting, and maybe that’s a good thing.
