Summary: As thrilling as travelling with the Doctor has been, Martha is more than ready to go home.

Homeward bound at last. For a time, Martha had thought she might like to travel with the Doctor for the rest of her life, but he didn’t feel about her the way she felt about him, and even if he had, after the last year all she wants is to go home, take care of her family, and live the quiet life for a while.

She’s had adventures, both good and bad, that she’d never imagined, done things she would never have believed herself capable of, but she’s had enough.

The rain-wet streets of London have never looked more beautiful.
