Author's Notes:
Rose's eyes while she is on the phone with The Doctor at the end of World War Three always made my stomach flip flop. This idea came from that. This is my first submission.

“Right now there’s this plasma storm brewing in the Horsehead nebula…” The Doctor’s description washed over Rose. Her stomach fluttered with excitement. It wasn’t the sight he was promising, but what his demand meant. Suddenly, she understood the times her mother had put her second, and she forgave them all. His combination of threat and promise meant he wanted her, but was afraid of her refusal. “Prove you love me” was the message. It also said “I love you and it would kill me if you didn’t love me too.” She began packing. Jackie wouldn’t approve, but she would understand.
