1. Chapter 1 [Reviews - 11] (1577 words)
This story takes the season 3 "Human Nature" and "Family of Blood" episodes and switches out Martha for Donna because, how awesome would the episodes have been if Donna had been his companion at the time? As they're pretty well self-contained stories, just imagine that this happened after the events of Midnight.
2. Chapter 2 [Reviews - 1] (3037 words)
There are a lot of caps in this episode. What can I say, I imagine Donna screaming internally quite a bit. And a bit of a filthy mouth. Also, I am not actively trying to bash Joan Redfern; I'm imagining this is how Donna would view her, though.
3. Chapter 3 [Reviews - 0] (3422 words)
More caps and rather a lot of italics (I luvs them!) Slightly dirtier language (Donna's struggling here.) Alas, less smoochies in this chapter. Thanks to those who've reviewed! Hope you enjoy. This chapter PG-13 for language.
6. Chapter 6 [Reviews - 1] (3892 words)
I'm jumping around like a crazed rabbit, from angst to humor, from Donna against a wall to placid walks on a hill, unicorns prancing around. I hope I'm not giving you all whiplash! I've also realized I love John Smith. I want to keep him; I'll take ever such good care of him! Thank you for all who've reviewed, I love your input and, believe it or not, do try to answer any questions that come up in the next episode, if it fits in.
7. Chapter 7 [Reviews - 3] (3411 words)
A/N: This story is turning out longer than I expected! A well. Was re-watching "Family of Blood," getting ready for what happens next – oh my god, Martha was a saint! I can't believe she didn't kick John's ass at least once. The Doctor would have understood once he woke up! Anyway, that has nothing to do with this part of the story other than I needed to rant. Hope you enjoy!
8. Chapter 8 [Reviews - 1] (3471 words)
A/N: Thanks to all the people following along and reviewing, and special shout-out to the self-proclaimed lurkers (I commiserate, I'm usually one as well) who have come into the light to leave a review. Please note the rating change once more and avert your maidenly eyes if necessary. Hope you enjoy!
9. Chapter 9 [Reviews - 1] (4533 words)
This chapter is dialogue heavy. As I mentioned before, I like to force myself to like characters I don't generally like by writing them. *ehem* I'm looking at you, Redfern *ehem*. PGish for language, as always.
10. Chapter 10 [Reviews - 2] (3565 words)
A/N: So finally we get to the part that resembles plot (if you squint, and are very generous.) :D Maybe another 2 chapters before the return of the Doctor... If you still haven't seen the episodes "Family of Blood" and "Human Nature," now would be a good time, as the bad guys make a return soon and I will be assuming a general understanding of what the bad guys are up to. I hope you enjoy! This part is PG-13.
11. Chapter 11 [Reviews - 2] (4259 words)
A/N: Awww, now I have to write actual story line and not just gratuitous UST. Booo. I warn you now, my action writing is ... well, let's just say it will get better once we're back to the groping and kissage (which is, unfortunately, not in the chapter.) If you've stuck with me so far, thank you and thanks for letting me know what you think! This part PG.
12. Chapter 12 [Reviews - 2] (3428 words)
A/N: This chapter has lots and lots of running; if this is what you've been waiting for (for instance if you are Jenny (the Doctor's daughter, not the body-stealing alien)) then man do I have a treat for you! PGish.
13. Chapter 13 [Reviews - 3] (3452 words)
A/N: This chapter is M bordering on NC-17. Please note the rating change! Some of you (filthy, filthy minds) have been waiting for this chapter for a while... ;D
16. Chapter 16 [Reviews - 7] (3464 words)
A/N: To all of you who have stuck with me so far, thanks! And extra thanks to those who have reviewed - I always love hearing what you think. Though this is the last chapter of "To Err is Human," I do have in mind a few side-stories and, perhaps, a sequel altogether.
