It was raining and Jack was bored. Never a good combination. He stood, grinning mischievously, a device nestled in his arms.
The Doctor stared back at him, barely blinking and lost for words. His face mixed with shock and extreme confusion. He didn't know where Jack had gotten the device, but it definitely did not belong in the 21st century and certainly not in Jack's hands.
"Just a little something I picked up in my travels. It’s called a defabricator."
The Doctor looked down at himself, speechless, and Jack's smile grew wider.
"And yes, it does exactly what it says."
