"Oh, Jamie! I'm so sorry!" said Zoe plaintively. "I don't know what could have happened. I was only trying to help!"
Jamie sighed and shook his head as he looked at the sad state of his formal dress kilt. "I cannae wear it now," he said mournfully.
"No, I dare say you can't," chuckled the Doctor as he took the garment from Zoe and held it up. The kilt was spotlessly clean but now the size of a small hand towel. "We'll get you another, Jamie, never fear! Meanwhile, I think I'll show Zoe the proper setting on the flash-dryer."
