The screechy voice echoed in her head. I must be going bonkers. She'd never flown anywhere in her life, always considered that too grand for her.
The way everyone else was telling it, Donna had flown. The whole earth, all of them, dragged across the stars. Nutters.
The more she thought about it, though, it made sense. To fly, that is. Maybe she was nothing special, just a temp from Chiswick, but if she went somewhere....
