1. Chapter 1 [Reviews - 24] (4010 words)
A big, long fic. An idea that's been playing around in my mind in an attempt to put my own version of the Doctor's past out there.

A bit of a crack idea, but the story in itself is serious.

A story in which the Doctor decides to go to a therapist for help.

2. Chapter 2 [Reviews - 3] (4742 words)
My first real go at writing Jack. Hope he didn't come across as too OOC.

Next chapter will involve the Torchwood team and the Doctor's reactions to them.

Set before Torchwood S02E13 "Exit Wounds"

3. Chapter 3 [Reviews - 1] (3587 words)
In which the Doctor has major mood swings from one extreme to another. Owen and Gwen are introduced and the TARDIS gets to be helpful to a TARDIS.

First time at writing either Owen or Gwen.

Shorter chapter than the others.

4. Chapter 4 [Reviews - 2] (4940 words)
I hope those of you waiting for my Ianto aren't too disappointed. They'll sort out their differences, just not in this chapter.

On the other hand, this chapter has a bit of Doctor/Jack in it. And embarrassing moments following it.

5. Chapter 5 [Reviews - 3] (4308 words)
In which the Doctor freaks out again, Donna feeds him, Jack gives him a bath, and Owen dries him off.

6. Chapter 6 [Reviews - 1] (4856 words)
Sylvia and Wilf enter the picture. They will also be in the fic next chapter, but don't expect them to be in this fic much. Martha shows up next chapter, Toshiko hopefully the one after that.

This chapter also involves Donna's breasts, the Doctor having major mood swings and Jack flirting with some, but not others.

7. Chapter 7 [Reviews - 1] (5775 words)
The Doctor gets a reasonably good start to the day, Donna worries and thinks of her life before the Doctor, and Martha is in, with Tom.

8. Chapter 8 [Reviews - 5] (4380 words)
A bit embarrassing this chapter is. So, I'll just go hide in my flame retardant blanket over in the corner. Other than that...Tom does some back rubbing, Jack gets to flirt and do some hugging, Martha finds out a bit of what happened, and the Doctor tries to regenerate. In a bad way.

9. Chapter 9 [Reviews - 3] (4401 words)
This chapter involves a roadtrip back to Cardiff (any times wrong is my fault), a Jack/Ianto kiss, Tosh, an angry Donna, and a bad metaphor. Also, the Doctor makes a phonecall.

10. Chapter 10 [Reviews - 7] (4393 words)
The Doctor makes his first appointment, Donna gets defensive, and Owen is pissed off.

11. Chapter 11 [Reviews - 3] (5086 words)
Sorry this ones a bit later than usual. I got sick and could barely think, let alone write a decent sentence. In this chapter, the Doctor gets a massage and works a bit on the TARDIS, Donna and Martha have a conversation, and Donna proves to the Torchwood girls that she can type 100 words per minute. A bit of non explicit sex between Martha and Tom in this chapter also.

12. Chapter 12 [Reviews - 4] (4363 words)
The Doctor has some more major moodswings, Martha helps him with repairing the TARDIS, and the TARDIS is mistreated, poor old girl.

13. Chapter 13 [Reviews - 4] (4368 words)
The Doctor has a nightmare, and spends the rest of the night on his bed with Jack, Martha and Donna.

There is a part in here which is Donna/Jack/Martha, given here as a warning.

14. Chapter 14 [Reviews - 5] (5507 words)
And at long last, chapter fourteen is written and posted. Sorry people, I was sick through most of November.

This chapter the Doctor cleans and goes shopping with the others. Ianto, Gwen and Tosh learn more about the TARDIS. Gwen learns about Gwyneth and Ianto has a chat with the Doctor about Canary Wharf and Jack.

Also, the Doctor rambles. For ages in some parts. So, warning for big block of text near the end.

15. Chapter 15 [Reviews - 3] (5500 words)
The Doctor has his first session, and he finally gets to tell someone of his nightmare. Martha takes him. Oh, and the completely odd throw in mention of a planet-wide orgy.

16. Chapter 16 [Reviews - 2] (4232 words)
A filler chapter that is Doctor Lite.

Martha takes the Doctor back to her place for the night, Francine shows up, the Doctor sleeps like a log, and Donna is angry for being left out of it all.

17. Chapter 17 [Reviews - 5] (5134 words)
A big thank you to whoever it was who voted for this story for the WIP section of round 2 over at the Children of Time Awards. I wasn't expecting it at all (mainly because I had only learnt of the awards' existence and didn't know of another round starting.)

Also, sorry for the lateness. Comp was in for repairs for a week, and only a little of this chapter was written. So, it's my fault for forgetting at the last minute to save this somewhere else.

In this chapter the Doctor can't stabilise his moods, Martha tries to help him, and Francine stays for dinner and a coffee. Oh, and the Doctor swears. In English. At Martha. Naughty Doctor.

18. Chapter 18 [Reviews - 3] (5202 words)
Yes, it is an update. I'm now back to writing this story. The Doctor has breakfast with Martha and lunch with Donna, and another phone call is made.

19. Chapter 19 [Reviews - 3] (3692 words)
Shorter chapter, but it was a good place to leave it.

The Doctor is sick and talks a bit more to Donna about what happened on Midnight. Tosh talks a bit about the Rift. Ianto goes inside the TARDIS. Donna listens and tries to make the Doctor comfortable.

20. Chapter 20 [Reviews - 2] (5145 words)
The Doctor gets worse, before getting better. Donna and Owen help him with that. Gwen helps him have a bath, on Jack's orders. And a trip in the TARDIS is now definitely planned, just as soon as the Doctor gets out of his next session.

21. Chapter 21 [Reviews - 2] (6681 words)
Sorry this one took so long. Writer's block and my Big Bang story have been taking my time :) Back to writing again.

In this chapter, the Doctor and Donna go to the second session with Jeremy. Also, Donna and the Doctor get ready for their next adventure off of Earth. This chapter has a bit which mentions suicide.

22. Chapter 22 [Reviews - 1] (4156 words)
The Doctor, Wilf and Donna end up on the planet Serene. Wilf is fascinated with the differences between Earth and this new place, especially when it comes to the skies. Also thoughts on constellations and the Time War. A short fight also happens, in which the Doctor swears in English again.

23. Chapter 23 [Reviews - 1] (3688 words)
The Doctor gets a bit hysterical and talks about how he feels a bit more, Donna realises something, Clive and Francine are woken up at 3 in the morning their time, and Wilf is sadly in the background.

24. Chapter 24 [Reviews - 1] (3572 words)
A nice, relaxing day for the Doctor, Donna and Wilf.

25. Chapter 25 [Reviews - 3] (5448 words)
The Doctor is in a good mood for most of the chapter, except for when he isn't, and talks to Wilf about what happened on Midnight. Sylvia and the Doctor discuss Donna, aliens and sex. Donna slaps her mum.

26. Chapter 26 [Reviews - 2] (5569 words)
A few parts with the dreaded rambling Blocks of Text again, this time on both the Doctor's and Donna's parts.

Donna wants the Doctor to do something and he refuses. The Doctor speaks a bit on what he lost during the Time War to Sylvia to get her off his back. Phone calls are made. Their next trip is planned.

27. Chapter 27 [Reviews - 1] (4954 words)
The Doctor and Donna go to the planet Shan Shen for a bit of a shop, and end up staying to do the whole tourist thing.

28. Chapter 28 [Reviews - 3] (7038 words)
In which the Doctor talks a bit about his feelings on the Time War, and runs out of a session. Martha has a cold, but goes with him anyway. Donna sleeps after a bad night. Also, the consumption of much alcohol and a bit of repetition. Any info wrong in this chapter is my fault.

29. Chapter 29 [Reviews - 2] (6186 words)
The Doctor gets drunk and later has a bit of a hangover, Martha talks to him, he and Francine talk to each other, and Jeremy gives the Doctor some advice he decides to take.

30. Chapter 30 [Reviews - 1] (9260 words)
The Doctor talks to the others who were on the Crusader tour with him. Donna goes with him for most of the talks.

Big blocks of text in this chapter, a lot of dialogue too.

31. Epilogue [Reviews - 3] (1060 words)
The Doctor gets a call from Tish telling him to hurry to the hospital to help with a family emergency.
