Jackie, being home alone now for a month and still not so much a call, picked up her phone, dialled Roses mobile number and hoped her daughter answered before she went insane.
This has been the longest month of her life, and damn the Doctor and that ship of his for it. Seconds had stretched into days, into weeks into months.
“Hello, mum? Good to hear you! How’s things at home?”
“Where are you?!”
“Where are you?”
“I’m in America mum.”
Ah, her daughter was here, on Earth then.
She had been worried.
She could have been anywhere.
