As soon as she stepped into the magic blue box, he made it clear she wasn’t really wanted. Her attempts to heal what looked like a simple broken heart (hearts) were rebuffed, and when his mixed signals made her dizzy, he simply commented that she never got dizzy.
She was perfect, the one that got away. She never got scared, never got herself lost. She would always know exactly what to do.
