The Torchwood Drabble Files by badly_knitted

Summary: A collection of drabbles, mostly based on the weekly prompts at tw100. Mostly Jack/Ianto as that's what I write, but no doubt other Torchwood characters will pop in from time to time. All genres are possible, but expect mainly humour and fluff, because that's usually what comes out when I write. All are 100 words exactly in Word, but apparently not here!

Chapter 118: If You’re Not Careful… - Sequel to ‘It’s Escaped!’
Author's Notes: This is the sequel to yesterday's drabble; the third and final part of the Wart Saga will hopefully be posted tomorrow. It's also the fourth of eight drabbles written for Week 4 of Challenge 288 – Reverse fandom – Last of the Summer Wine at tw100, so there are four more to post before I can start posting other things. I'm slowly catching up.

Summary: The Peruvian Wart is not a pleasant creature – beware!

“How the hell did that happen?” Jack was definitely not pleased.

“I don’t know! The lid was off its jar.”

“We can figure that out later,” Ianto reminded them, “Right now we just need to find it fast, preferably before it selects a host and latches on. Whatever you do, don’t let it come into contact with bare skin.”

“Yeah, I don’t want to try removing it if it attaches to one of you and starts reproducing!” Owen shuddered. “You’d probably be stuck with it permanently.”

The look of disgust on Jack’s face would have been funny in other circumstances.

TBC in ‘An Apple A Day’
