I read this in its entirety in one nihjt, and all I can say is wow, what a belter! From the darkest of dark to the appearance of Eleven, it was such a remarkable story. At first I groaned, not another first person story, but the more I read, the more it became apparent to me that first person had to be the only way to realize the impact of Rose's trials. I liked the way you messed with canon just enough to make the Doctor's appearance plausible, yet it took nothing away from the real story. And although the end brought me to tears, the message was clearly understood: theirs was a love that would endure all of Time. Thank you for a great story!
Author's Response: Aw, thank you for your kind words. I personally prefer 1st person over 3rd (although not all of my DW fics are 1st), but I definitely agree that it was necessary for this fic. As stated in the notes, I hadn't planned on Eleven showing up, but he was determined to do it! :D Thank you so much. I hope to get other fics up soon.
Oh, this is really getting good! having her see glimpses of the Doctor (who may or may not be real) adds a nice bit of mystery!
Author's Response: Glad you're enjoying. :)
