Well I don’t know where to begin.
You are a master at dialogue even tho lots of it was dialogue I didn’t want to hear. I want to shake the Doctor, hard headed Pratt!! I was very glad for Jacks input, glad he let it slip about Rose being able to live much longer. He makes so much sense, he is such a good friend to them both. Heartbreaking conversation between Rose and the Doctor and I have to agree with her.
This is definitely not how I had hoped the story would end and I must say I am SO RELIEVED there will be more. I am a hardcore shipper and most often avoid stories that even hint at them not ending up together. But, that being said, I love your writing style and depth of character so I will hang in there and keep reading, hopeful for these two to work through all of their issues. It has been an amazing story and a very original story line.
Okay, won't lie & say that I don't feel like throwing things, but the empty feeling I have would not make me feel any better...I'm also sorry to say that I agree with Rose, he needs to either embrace their love or let her go...wow, this hurt...thanks for the hope of more to come....looking forward to more of your storytelling.
Jack is the best and being able to explain both sides of the issue to Rose was what she needed, but the Doctor's thoughts are still stuck and moving in the direction that will only hurt them both in the end...I am hopeful that with Jack on board Rose will have a safety net and a place to go should she need time away so they could both sort through this mess...anxious to read the next bit (which is next on my things to do today).
The Doctor is so terribly conflicted about Rose. One minute he can’t breathe without her and the next he is going to send her away. If you have only one more chapter planned (😩😩) I’m thinking you have a challenge ahead of you. And then Rose isn’t telling him about her lifespan....I get it but crossing my fingers he will tell her. Surely she won’t give up and leave him, surely he won’t send her away, you have me so worried now!!!!i have loved every bit of this story, even all the angst. Twice now I have gone back to the beginning and read it through. This is an amazing story and I commend you for your writing skills. I will miss this very very much.
Author's Response: Welllll.....I'll let you in on something. This will definitely end up being a series. I have many stories in my hard drive at different stages of completion. It won't be the last story you hear from me about these two. You won't have to miss it too long.
Jack clearly has unresolved issues with the Doctor but hope they will be able to voice them and finally move past them...Rose's respect for Martha and her situation was nicely handled...Martha needed to realize her own worth and clear the air before she left...enjoying the reading while spending my time indoors...thanks for making this time tolerable.
Author's Response: Thank you for always being there with a kind word about the story I've put so much work into. I really appreciate it. You're awesome!
That was really really hot mixed in with the sad and frustrating and worrisome. When he was thinking of how he visited her room, laid on her bed while she was gone......wow that is heartbreaking. And now he has her back he keeps trying to avoid his true feelings!!!
Love how he is almost frantic to find her at the beginning of the chapter, and his reaction when he finally found her, so telling of his true feelings. Darn Doctor, she has your hearts, stop trying to rationalize and convince yourself you can't be with her. This story pulls at my heartstrings something fierce.
Went shopping yesterday and was amazed by the empty shelves. Looked like a war zone at 3 different stores. I hope all our fellow readers and writers stay safe.
Whew, pant! The Doctor needs to get over it and let it go. Stuffed shirt Time lord, lol!
That was hot, yet intimate...still a bit worried that he will succeed in pushing her away, leaving her with nothing but her nightmares...another brilliant post...thank you.
I want to shake sense into the Doctor....once again he is trying to convince himself he can't be with Rose! And after all the things she told him, things he told her, the brilliant intimacy from the night before?? Omg then he rebuffed her first attempt to reach him mentally??? I wanted to yell at him, tell him he is being a total PRAT!! He loves Rose, she loves him. I just hope, once she tells him that she doesn't age anymore.... that he will come to his senses.
I love this story but right now I am so mad at the hard headed Doctor!!! I hope you smack some sense into him soon!!!
Author's Response: Well I'm so glad you're enjoying it but I know that it can be frustrating dealing with martyrs. The Doctor is special animal though...especially ten. He takes martyrdom to a new level. I'm afraid that you might be a little irritated with direction of this story but stick with me. We'll get it all worked out.
To know a bit about Rose's time in the AU, so very heartbreaking...no, no, no, tell me the Doctor isn't going to run from Rose and hurting her in the process.
Author's Response: *sigh* Well, we all know how eager the Doctor (especially ten) is to punish himself. Rose is not much of one to let him get away with that though.
O.K. Doctor, time to let your hair down and run with it. :>))
Author's Response: If only he would. I guess we'll see. ; )
Very deep and angsty but so revealing. Looking forward to the next chapter. :>)
