I thought I'd already left a review on this story, and I'm chagrined to see I hadn't. I wanted to let you know how brilliant I think this is, and how wonderful (and horrible), the Doctor's solution is for Jack. You've written it beautifully; the imagery is strong, and the pacing is just right. Thank you for writing this!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm pleased with how this came out - the original idea (making new universes from Jack) came from a dream I had one night, and it's hard to make enough sense of dreams to craft a story. I am very happy you enjoyed this!
Describing beginnings and nothings, and endings that arenít and are, is both personal and universal in the most literal meanings of those words. The relationship between the Doctor and Jack, and what they are doing to each other and themselves, is thought-provoking. This story is beautifully written and somewhat haunting.
