Wow. I knew it was a COE fix - it once they were in London, but this was a very moving story with a lovely, if bittersweet ending (their together, but Ianto will never see his family again). Good job on this!
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it! I seem to forever be writing CoE fix-its, I've lost count of how many now. There are even a couple I haven't posted yet. Even though Ianto will never see his family again, he can still look forward to a long and happy life with Jack.
Wow! The twist is so shocking and exciting! I really didn't see that coming. You made it so subtle I thought Ianto was being haunted by Jack. I love how it ties into Children of Earth and how Ianto died. I love the emotion you put into the story and how it took Jack decades to bring Ianto back to life, not just out of guilt, which he shouldn't blame himself, but out of his love for Ianto. It's nice to think that they'll spend the rest of their time together travelling the universe. What a wonderful story. This is one of my favourites!
Author's Response: Thank you! CoE fix-its have a tendency to creep in when I don't expect them to, several of my fics have stared out as one thing and ended up as another fix-it. I didn't want it to seem too easy for Jack to get Ianto back, he really had to want it to go through everything he did, and even then he was prepared to let Ianto go if he didn't want to be brought back. As for the rest of their time together - well, that could be a very long time indeed, since Ianto picked up quite a bit of vortex energy when he accidentally passed through Jack. It might take them a while, but I'm sure the boys will figure it out ;)
Hmm... This is really interesting. I can't wait to see what happens in the next part.
Author's Response: I'll post part two this evening - it should have been part 2 yesterday, but when I went to add it, part 1 wasn't there. I must not have clicked post, so I had to start all over again *headdesk* Hope you'll enjoy the conclusion! Thank you!
