It must be so hard for Ianto to watch Jack die. I know that he always comes back, but that doesn't make it any easier. Jack still dies. I can see how Ianto would wonder if each time Jack died that it would be the last and he'd never come back to life. It's nice that Ianto stayed with him so Jack wouldn't be alone.
Author's Response: Ianto always puts Jack's needs first, ignoring his own suffering and discomfort to take care of his captain. That's true love. It really must be a great strain on him, so much anxiety and stress, never able to completely believe Jack will be okay until he revives. I'm sure Jack appreciates the comfort and reassurance Ianto provides so selflessly. Thank you.
