Completely wonderful, and makes *perfect* sense. After all Casanova did all kinds of incredible things, like invent the lottery... Thank you! :)
Author's Response: Thank you so very much! :) That rascally Ten. Haha!
This is completely brilliant! I love the concept of it, very clever! And this is totally in my headcanon now.
Author's Response: Thank you so very much for reading and reviewing! Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Also, your Twelve-voice is spotless; it sounded exactly like him. :)
Author's Response: Ah, thanks so much for that! That is exactly what I wanted to capture. It was my first go at it, so I focused more on his voice and less on technique. I wrote it in one session, just so I wouldn't overthink it. :-)
Whoa, pile of Awkward, there, Doctor! ;D And leave it to nosy Clara to keep pressing the point. ^.^
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! Yes, Clara can be very persistent when she wants something. And I think, more than anything, she just can't believe the Doctor, particularly the 12th Doctor, as a lothario.
I'm a little disappointed Clara didn't actually get to meet him; usually it's Rose people use for putting next to Every Other Character David Tennant Has Ever Played and having it be Clara instead would have been a breath of fresh air! Still, I was amused. "You took one for the team and bedded 122 women" indeed :D
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reviewing! To be honest, if I weren't shooting for a short crack!fic, I would have paired Clara with Casanova!Tennant. But Twelve can be so pious at times, and I've little doubt he would have pulled every trick out of the book to keep Clara from becoming a conquest of his former self. In my head, I sort of have a good feel for Twelve, but this is my first attempt at writing him... and my first story in well over a year. I'll keep that in my head for future stories, though. Haha!
