Well that was terrifying. However I feel inspired.
Author's Response: Thanks! Glad I could terrify you enough to inspire you.
Holy darkness, Batman! That was intense. I 'loved' the twist in which he'd killed Rose without meaning to....well written. Overall, a very disturbing story with cuttingly graphic imagery to support it. Not my usual Rose /Ten kind of fix, but I definitely liked it. Well done!
Now I'm off to read some fluf to heal my broken heart!!!
Author's Response: Wow! Thanks! I'm really happy that you loved the twist. I wanted to make it a little bit creepy and disturbing. Thank you so much!
Are you a Dementor? Because all the joy has been sucked from me. The horror tag on this was apt, I think, but I can't help but wonder if there weren't a better way to describe this story. I do feel a bit nauseous after reading it, I wish I'd been given a bit more warning on just how dark the ending was going to be.
Author's Response: The infection destroyed both Rose and the Doctor's lives. It's just a dark, tragic horror story without a happy ending. It's as bleak and devastating as the universe they're living in.
So, the happy ending is Rose dying ... ?
Author's Response: Everything Rose and the Doctor went through was horrifying for both of them. It was always going to end this way. There wasn't supposed to be a happy ending.
the only thing that keeps the hope alive is that the Doctor is hallucinating!
Author's Response: Even though the Doctor is dying his feelings for Rose are still there. He still loves her and cares about the real her even when he's hallucinating that she's talking to him. He was trying to save her. If anything, what happened to Rose and the Doctor proves how devastating and horrifying the infection really is. That's what makes it so tragic.
Wow, just wow. I really hope The Doctor's just hallucinating!
Author's Response: The Doctor is definitely hallucinating because of the infection. He knows that Rose isn't really there comforting him, but it's hard for him to wrap his mind around what happened to the real Rose. He's confused, overwhelmed, and dying a horrible death.
Okay. This was very intense and I'm torn between wanting to read the next chapter and being afraid to read the next chapter. Great writing (said the fan of happy endings, hiding behind the sofa).
Author's Response: Thanks! If you\'re already hiding behind the sofa you might want to peek through your fingers for the next chapter. There\'s going to be a very shocking surprise that you\'re going to want to read.
This is...it's...you're killing me! Such brutal imagery. Well done. Can't wait yo read the next chapter!
Author's Response: I\'m killing you already? I haven\'t got to the good part yet. I\'m glad you like it.
Wow you finally killed him :) nice one shot or is it not done yet
Author's Response: I almost killed him, but the Doctor\'s tougher than that. There\'s still one chapter left that I hope you\'ll enjoy.
OMG...not sure what to say other than this was intense and heart-breaking.
Author's Response: Thanks! It\'s going to get more intense in the next chapter.
