This short story is lovely! It's great how you brought in Sarah Jane and Jo, and the time loop is interesting.

I laughed so much at the Jo and Sarah Jane scene- Jo being mock scandalised and them having something slightly stronger than tea were particularly wonderful images. And as well as being lovely in terms of characters, there's also all these wonderful ideas like bringing in the old tree falls thing and, AND, the TARDIS being made of wood. I love this fic so much. Thank you so much for writing.
As Nine would say, fantastic! So much good stuff packed into this one, from the revelations about Jabe and her forest, to the Doctor and companions, to that final image of the TARDIS and yet another new way of thinking about her. Bravo.

It's such a clever idea; taking the minor character and growing it up(as a pose to fleshing it out) like this. It's not quite the circle of life, but a bit wibbly-wobbly in there.
