Love your stories and this one is no exception. I adore Rose meets the Master stories and I've probably read them all, there are never enough. You write them so well. I would love to see this sorry updated and finished but alas I know life gets in the way and things change. Just wanted to let you know that your work is still being appreciated, years later.
I'm guessing that, since I'm writing this three years since the last review, this one of those WIP's that will never be finished... That makes me sad.
I love Rose-meets-the-Master stories, and they are few and far between. This one is one of the best. I hope you will finish it someday...
Your repeated allusions to poetry in your writing is gorgeous and wonderful. "And here in the dark is where new worlds are born/ Come stand by me." I eagerly await the updating of any and all fics-in-progress that you may have. I'll read anything that you write. Seriously, I think you just became one of my favorite writers -- period.

So excited to see an update! and it was exceptionally easy to dive right back into this story and become immersed. I love the hint of knowing how things will go because of Rose's reactions in Conversations With the Devil. Also, the flashback was lovely. This was great; thanks for posting!
unfortunate what Lucy has been through physically and mentally but believe working with Rose is a set-up and will not end well for Rose...hope I'm just seeing things more of half empty rather than half full and am wrong in my assumption!

I'm really enjoying this story. Conversations with the Devil is one of my favorite fanfics and I'm really curious about the time Rose was a captive on the Valiant.

Rose has grown in maturity so much since she was lost to Pete's World and it shows in how she interacts with the Master...it is an amazing thing to watch; the push-pull that plays out between them.
I'm so happy to see this updated. Great chapter, I like how well the flashbacks were woven into the story.
