This is nice. After so many crack crossovers where people know who the other characters are to a degree, it is refreshing to see it it without any literary clues.
Author's Response: Thank you very much! It was a lot of fun letting the characters meet and figure each other (and the world, for Donna and the Doctor) out.
That was intense. With the Doctor resigned to accept Moody's "Curicio."
Author's Response: Glad you liked it! :)
Wow, glad he was able to convince Moody that he's not Crouch! Looking forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: Yeah, Moody took some special convincing. :)
Whew! So glad they convinced Moody in time before it was too late. Really, really enjoying this. :-)
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m very glad you are!
Now THAT'S a cliffhanger! WHOA. I'd enjoy seeing him regenerate, leaving the wizards to accuse him of being some sort of human animagus.
Author's Response: Glad you like it! I have to admit, that thought did cross my mind. We\'ll find out tomorrow if that\'s where I took it. :)
OMG! What a cliffie! You've got me on the edge of my seat, wondering what's gonna happen next. Please update soon!
Author's Response: Awesome, thanks! Tomorrow morning... :)
Boy, you never stop with the twists, do you? You have done a brilliant job keeping my attention so far. Keep it up!
Author's Response: I try! It\'s hard to keep the story interesting sometimes. Makes me happy to hear that it\'s engaging! :)
Hi! I reviewed this fic on FFNet, I just finally registered here so I can get updates from this site, too and I thought I'd tell you. Am I seeing it right that I can only get email notification of updates if I add a fic to my favorites and tick that box? Anyway, still love this fic, I don't mind it being on my favorites... but now I'm glad I'm not using my full (nick)name on here, cause otherwise I'd avoid adding some fics to my favorites just to get alerts because of paranoia that someone will notice.
Author's Response: Hi there! Yeah, as far as I know, you have to add it to your favorites to get updates. There\'s no \"follow\" option. And there\'s no direct messaging to authors, either. I wish they\'d add those features. Good to see you here!
I am really enjoying this story. Usually I'm not that big on crossovers, but this one is absolutely brilliant. Keep up the good work!
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I\'m glad you\'re enjoying it! I\'m not usually big on crossovers, either, but Tennant having played both Barty and the Doctor was too fun an idea to resist.
Author's Response: Thank you very much! :)
This has been a great read so far! Great job with the characters, I really hear their voices in the dialogue. Good pacing as well! Poor old mad eye, I can't wait to find out how he's holding up to supertemp!
Author's Response: Thanks very much! I\'m glad you can hear the voices - I worked really hard on the dialogue. I still can\'t write the Eleventh Doctor, though. He\'s difficult!
Oh my God! Doctor + Dumbledore = AWESOMENESS. I can only imagine the kinds of things they're going to get up to!
Author's Response: Oh no, I hate to disappoint! I think the ultimate Doctor/Dumbledore pairing would be with the Seventh Doctor - two master manipulators.
Interesting mystery and it makes sense that they wouldn't use muggle medicine to check his vitals. At least his girl-magnet skills seemed to working - Tonks being the one who suggested the enervate spell.
Author's Response: I had a bit of struggle with hiding his species - if someone had checked his pulse, they would have noticed the four heartbeats. But then I decided that with magic healing spells readily available, non-healers wouldn\'t even think of checking the pulse - they\'d check to see if he\'s breathing. I\'ve always felt that Tonks was far more empathetic than she let on. She wants to give the tough impression of an auror, but she\'s really compassionate.
A good weakness to determine that the Doctor has. He's been psychologically manipulated by others before, playing on his grief.
Author's Response: Unfortunately, the people in this universe don\'t have enough knowledge of him to do that. But your point is making me feel like I should have him revisit the HP world in the future sometime, when the world is even darker.
