The fact that he gloated about his throwing arm skills beforehand, made him embarrassed to seek assistance, after he got hurt. You're not 5 like you used to be, Doctor! Pretty long for a one-shot, but was enjoyable all the same. And I am the extended stay on the planet will do neither of them any harm!
Author's Response: Yeah, he was pretty cocky about his bowling arm wasn\'t he, serves him right. Was a bit longer than I thought it was going to be - obviously not a one shot writer, lol. Glad you enjoyed anyway.
Getting better at the short stories.
Author's Response: Not sure if this should have been cut into chapters or not, problem is with short stories is that they just kind of don\'t feel finished, lol.

Teehee, despite the copious amminmta of pain this really did make me giggle, with a nice bit of best friend fluff on the side to make me smile! To be fair about him hurting, you didn't nearly kill him this time, you were actually rather kind to him! *whispers* sequel..
Author's Response: Lol, glad that you enjoyed, and yeah, only dislocated his shoulder and they looked after him, no torture, no nearly dying - must be slacking!
Lobbing it out the window is just like bunging a rock at a Yeti robot. The Doctor never changes! :)
Neither do you. *rolls eyes* You hurt him again! XD
Author's Response: Rocks, devices, cricket balls, if it\'s got to be thrown it\'s got to be thrown...
“Oh, I am going to operate a sophisticated series of natural motions in the most basic of processes of projection and…”
“You’re going to lob it out the window?” Donna checked and the Doctor grinned and nodded.
Thank you, I needed a laugh. Of course, I should have known you'd find a way to injure the Doctor. I dare you to write a story where he isn't injured. :-)
And congrats! You wrote a "short story!" I'm not sure how you managed it, but I'm glad you did. Nice to see the Doctor and Donna back together again.
Author's Response: Glad that you enjoyed. Will work on a story where he\'s not injured, but got one more one shot idea - never done a shag or die! Really should finish Code 9 off as well. For a short story this one still ended up longer than I intended lol, but you must have missed Giant Spiders which was actually shorter!
