Oh so delighted to see Jack reunited with Rose and the Doctor just love this trio together. Thanks for sharing.

Loved it back on LJ, loved it again whilst riffling through the Teaspoon today. One of the best pieces of Jack-meets-new-Doc (or honestly, one of the best pieces of DW fiction) ever.

Beautifully worded. I love the way you've used language here. Actually, I'm slowly turning green with jealousy, but never mind - even I can still appreciate good writting in that state. A lovely insight into Jack's mind, and the person he's become. And the language - I can say enough good things about the language you've used, I don't use the word beautiful lightly, and it is certainly well-deserved here!

Wow, I reviewed this before on LJ, but it bears repeating. This is amazing, I just love your use of imagery and your word choices just sing off the screen. You are my kind of writer...*g*

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words. I\'m so flat thrilled people seemed to have enjoyed this one so much. Cheers. :)

Absolutely wonderful! This one's going straight on my favourites list. What a fantastic character piece! You write Jack so beautifully, so convincingly. You have so many turns of phrase which leave me envious. Just picking one at random... when reality is a prickly mystery in a black leather jacket. Wow!

You put a lump in my throat when the Doctor appeared. It grew bigger when Jack realised that it was the Doctor. And bigger still with each of the kisses. I wish it could happen this way in the series, but we know that Jack won't be around for the next season.

I'd ask for a sequel, except it's clear that this is complete in itself. Yet I'd love to see you write more Jack, and especially the trio. You do it so well.

Incidentally... what's OT3?

Author's Response: Thank you so much. I was quite pleased with the \'prickly mystery\' line myself, it just had a nice flow to it. And, no, probably no sequel for this one, but I\'m writing another, longer piece with the trio, because they are so much fun. I\'ll be posting it here when it\'s finished. It\'s on my lj (link in my profile) as a wip at the moment, archived as \'monday fic\'. And OT3, is like OTP (one true pairing), only it\'s One True Threesome.

Thanks again, I\'m happy you liked it. :)

Thanks for the response and the explanation. OT3 definitely sounds like my kind of story!

I agree with Carmen Sandiego; you did a perfect job. Wow.

Author's Response: Thank you so much. I\'m glad you enjoyed it. :)

Utterly gorgeous; a stunning character piece. I loved the use of the rain, I loved the way Jack reacted and I loved the way he saw the Doctor as a myth.

"Legends were men and women with bad teeth, bad manners, lice, dysentery, and acne. They were scrubbed clean by history, made beautiful by it."

Those sentences and the expansion in the next few paragraphs is breathtaking. Thank you for such a wonderful story.

(Quick nitpick: "take a cut of the Time Agency here" - did you mean 'off'?)

Author's Response: Thank you very much for reading, and commenting. I\'m very pleased you enjoyed this. Quick nitpick: \"take a cut of the Time Agency here\" - did you mean \'off\'? Actually, I appear to be missing a word, which is odd, because I remember that one and could swear I fixed that in an earlier draft. Oh, cut and paste, how you taunt me. Huge thanks for catching that, I will correct it now. Cheers
