Love this. Can never get enough of Rose and Eight. Beautiful writing and scenes. Adored their interaction with each other!

Throwing a big bouquet of flowers and a Bravo! at this tale -- but whatever praise I heap upon your work, it's ridiculous understatement. The stories unfurl like actual episodes, like fully interactive headcanon, and the dialogue is steeped so thoroughly in characteristics we recognize immediately, making every word -- spoken and unspoken -- ring true. I keep thinking, "Can we get this person on the DW writing staff, STAT???" ... Rose and Eight would've made an electric pairing, wouldn't they, especially this older, wiser Rose, who totally has his number. They would've had to tweak the entire premise of the program, though, to accommodate their intense chemistry. At least they got their moment here, and it played out like a dream -- *his* dream, I think. He was done-for from the start, even as he aimed to keep a grip on his Time Lord dignity, in that adorably proper way of his. Thank you so much for an enchanting piece of storytelling, and I would so love to read more about these two.

Author's Response: Thank you! They were so much fun to write together. It was nice because dimension-hopping Rose is a little bit grimmer than she is in S1 and 2, but with Eight (in his early days), she was able to lighten up a little bit. Glad you liked it!
Yay, a lovely little return to this universe. I'm so looking forward to a hopeful culmination with the doctor being able to remember all of these past encounters :) With you as the author, I know it'd be brilliant.

I would ADORE it if you made this a series...more running into past Doctors? And a reunion with memories? =) Great job!

This Rose seems very much like the pictures from the 50th, but with the Torchwood-sense of Dimension Cannon-jumping Rose. And Eight!! Been seeing a lot of him lately, am starting to like it.
