This was an utter delight - and I could actually see it! Wow! That last line, though *grins* a perfect capper!
Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much! I\'m so glad you could see it happening, I love it when I manage to do that :) Glad you liked the last line, too, I\'m quite fond of that myself ;) I\'m so very pleased you liked this! *HUGS back* Thank you for the feedback!
Good one! Equally funny and hot.
Really loved the bit about rhetorical questions.
None too sure about the Brig bellowing at Benton from behind, though. That sort of behaviour somehow seems to be beneath good old Alistair.
Bringing in the Brig’s mother was a brilliant idea. Poor guy! *chuckles quietly to himself*
As for taking liberties – I’d rather have a good story than canonicity any day.
Author's Response: Thank you very much! Funny and hot were what I was aiming for :D Glad you liked the rhetorical questions bit! That was a favourite of mine :) Re: the Brigadier shouting at Benton from behind. I take your point, but there are definitely a few times in the episodes when he does that, although granted it\'s to get his attention rather than to chew him out for something. He is also a Brigadier, and as such (I presume) is not above scaring his men on occasion to get the best out of them. I\'ll have to ponder that and see whether his manners or his military attitude are more likely to come out in that sort of situation. Even the Brigadier has a mother! I\'ve no doubt she checks in with him and makes sure he\'s keeping well on occasion (and has something to say about it when he\'s not). Thank you so much for the review and feedback, it\'s much appreciated.
Lovely, sweet, and hot! Well done.
