OMG. From sly humor to heartbreak.
Well done!
And I can't wait to see who that baby grows up to be... :D
“I've seen UNIT aim for discreet. It usually ends with something getting blown up.”
“A lot's changed since the '70s,” said Martha. She frowned. “Or was it the '80s?”
“I can never remember,” said the Doctor with a shrug.
OMG. LOL!
“The Perfect One was chosen by the gods to lead our people — all people — to a new age of peace and enlightenment.”
Because Enlightenment worked out so well the last time around!
“In the TARDIS. In the library by the swimming pool. With handcuffs.”
And I was going to guess Colonel Mustard in the Conservatory with the Lead Pipe! ;)

The Perfect One,” said the Doctor, “is due to be sacrificed on her 15th birthday
to allow the gods to arrive via some mythical process that did I mention involves the Harmonious Siblings
killing our daughter?”
thank you very much
You. YOU. My goodness. My talent feels like a sopping squib next to your astounding characterisation. Your dialogue actually makes me laugh out loud while reading, and that's just brilliant. Fantastic pacing, wonderful plot. Really enjoyable story by a superb writer -x-
EEEEEK! from me, too. I suppose that is the response for pretty much anybody when the Master shows up at his door, but especially for our dear heroes. Please carry on. I feel like an open-mouthed baby bird, eager for more.
Eeek! Well, the Master probably doesn't want to kill the baby for *religious* reasons...
