This is wonderful!
Very nice vignette between these two.
I've re-read this several times, and I think it's just beautiful. It really manages to capture the tenderness in Six & Peri's friendship without being sentimental, and you can just feel the summer heat and the lake, and it's like this wonderful moment suspended in time, both sad and hopeful. Thanks for writing it.
Who am I to re-read and not leave another review? It's still a wonderful story, melancholy but with hope and a good sense of place. The bit about her being thirty years in the future and not able to go see the people she may care about... thirty years is a trifle to a Time Lord, but very isolating to a human. Very well done.
Aw, this is a lovely moment between them.
Nice story to go to bed on. Thanks
Oh, so nice to see a softer side of Six. And my heart aches for Peri, who is braver than she gives herself credit for. thanks for this.
