It isn't until I read this pair interacting that I realise quite how much I miss them... That had me grinning from ear to ear almost all the way through... 'cos only this Doctor would behave like this in the face of a possible paradox and fancy tricking poor Rose with one of those rather fantastic hugs!

I literally squealed when I saw this update in my inbox. You've got me completely hooked. I was actually surprised when I saw that this was just the second chapter, because I had such an emotional reaction to it. Please continue to update quickly, because I am very very selfish.
Oh, and for the chapter itself, that last bit about the Doctor taking her backpack is right on the money. I can't wait to see what happens next!

Another wonderful chapter. I love the verbal sparring. Rose sure put her foot in it. Actually, Rose sure knew a lot about the Doctor's foot. The East Enders comment was a low blow.
Using a hug to nab Rose's backpack was so smooth. Nice move Doctor.

Heh, the bit about the diamond socks is actually from a DW Novel (Winner Take All), and while I know that those are generally viewed as noncanonical, they do occasionally make for hilarious background info. The EastEnders thing was from another novel, although I think in that one, Rose made him sit with her in Jackie\'s flat and watch all the episodes that she\'d missed--and while I have a hard time picturing that actually happening, it\'s really too funny to dismiss entirely.
