Wow! That was EXCELLENT! I was on the edge of my seat throughout, hurting so much for Sarah Jane yet still hoping for a good outcome despite the notes. Then that ending! I didn't see that ending coming at all, but it didn't feel at all forced. It hit me between the eyes and made the whole thing fit together perfectly. Well done!!!
Author's Response: Thanks, I\'m glad the ending worked for you! It was hard to write but I enjoyed it.
Although it was sad, I think this is a really good story. It was well written, and I loved the Into the Woods lyrics. Fanfiction gives you the chance to explore possibilities like this, and I think that, even though it was incredibly sad to read as the story progressed and shocking at the end, there are always possibilities to be explored, like this one. I think this was a really good story, albeit sad, and I'm assuming that the goal was to provide readers with a question and to bring a sad possibility into reality, which I think you did very well. Although it was a bit upsetting, I enjoyed reading this.
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed reading it, despite the sadness. Thanks for the review!
Wait. I just reread this... IT'S ALL A DELUSION? all of it? the audios, bannerman road...I don't know if that makes him worse or better.
Author's Response: Yup, K-9 and Company, the Big Finish series, The Five Doctors, Dimensions in Time, School Reunion, Children of Time, SJA...all delusions. My personal hope is that it makes it worse, since that\'s what I was going for. ;) MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Thanks for reading!
I LOVED IT. I will have more to say about it later, but right now, I'm still processing.
Author's Response: THANK YOU! (Also, you should know that when I saw \"I will have more to say about this later\" I immediately began to think of subtle, passive-aggressive ways to remind you of that fact...and then I saw you\'d commented at Dark-Fest! Thank you!
Did you really have to do that? I go to Sarah Jane Adventures to get my optimism, the feeling that there are good things in the universe after all...I understand the challenge, but....but...
Author's Response: That\'s what I go to the show itself for, for when I go to fanfiction--for any fandom--I\'m looking for ways to explore, to challenge myself, to push boundaries. With such an uplifting show as SJA, this naturally pushes me towards angst. Not that I need much pushing--I\'m afraid I\'m an angst junkie, my dear. As a writer, I demonstrate affection for characters by torturing them, so I can take them apart and note their reactions in every circumstance and savor their delicious, delicious pain.
Author's Response: Aaargh, typos. That should\'ve been \"but when I go to fanfiction.\"
Chillingly, tragically effective, I'll give it that...
Author's Response: Thank you!
