Hello my friend....again this is Heather (farieslight from wattpad)....this is my second go round on this story. I had forgot, probably because it was sooooo emotionally stressful about the rapes and been in turmoil since that chapter. I guess after like 32 years as a Doctor Who devote I'm just emotionally invested in the character. It's a testament to your writing skills that I become so emotional reading your stories. I'm once again up at 2:40am unable to stop reading, though it's my second time reading this story n unable to let it go to get some sleep.
Simce July my migraines are out of control n lasting up to 42 hours after which I'm lucky to get an 18 hour stretch migraine free which makes me unable to think enough to write and have that outlet I so need. Just no concentration is feasible in this state. Lilly's Story that I was writing haunts me as I can't get it down but hopefully on the 21st my doc will give me something stronger to help n I can return to my writing. In the mean time I use your stories as escape to keep my mind off the pain. I never get tired of your stories and read unless my vision is effected from the migraines. It helps me forget my pain for awhile which is a small blessing.
In between our messages I think of you often and pray daily that your health is allowing for you to accomplish all you need to do and that your grandson (who's story was so great) is also doing well. It's weird n you know I don't mean to be like idk odd but I never message the other writer I read. The messages you return also make my day. When I was able to write you gave me encouragement and support and it was and is so appreciated I want to do it for you too. I just hope someday I'm as good as you.
As always keep writing and I will keep reading!
That was beautiful. Thank You.
Author's Response: Thank you for reading it. :)
I absolutely love this story. I finished it in about three days and I've finished rereading it today. It was heartbreaking and I did cry. For a whole week I didn't even rererewatch Doctor Who...as I usually do. In fact I just made an account here for the soul purpose of reviewing your story. Your ability to write is amazing and you must have taken a lot of time for research. You clearly know what you are talking about and it is impressive. So thank you for spending your time on this story, it has inspired me a lot in writing and even in art...*actually I did an illustration for you*
Author's Response: thank you so very much for your kind words. I am -- truly gob-smacked. Broken is my baby. I would love to see the illustration.
Loved this!!! It's so hard to find a decent story with actual background and a thought out story. I'd love to see a sequel to this! Perhaps something with Roman and cj??
Author's Response: Thank you so much, I have thought of doing a sequel with them, but I have to finis Daniel first. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read it
Well, first of all...I have to say that I love happy endings. Most of the time the Doctor doesn't get a happy ending in the long run on the TV show. Thank you for giving him this perfect ending to this story. It was like a big red bow on a present I wasn't expecting, but overjoyed to get. Reading about the babies finally made me cry. You came close so many times in this story, and you finally succeeded. :) I just loved it!
Perfection. I can't remember the last book I read that had the emotional impact that this story did. I'm going to miss it. The part with him being sick and the child's mother comforting him was especially meaningful. There is just so much I'm feeling, but I just. Don't have your gift with words to paint the picture. I especially love how you incorporated, the prologue into the ending but also flesh it out. I reread the prologue countless times while reading this story, and the additional details were perfect...especially with Jack being there to hold him and help him. That ranks up there with one of my favorite scenes in this story.
Great chapter. Just so perfect in the parts that make up the whole. Coaching the kids, naming the baby, reconnecting with River, the scene where he realizes and admits that he is participating in the trial for the girls...all of it imparts such emotional depth to this wonderful story. As much as I regret this story coming to an end, I have to say that I couldn't have asked for better resolution. So good to see him more himself. Thank you for your hard work and the gift of your talent.
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I think I\'m in withdrawal though. I hope you liked the epilogue
Love this story sooooo much that I'm sad to see it end, even though the end gave me such warm fuzzy feelings. I've enjoyed it more than any fanfic I've ever read, and you have done a fantastic job of creating this world and your original characters. Thank you!
Author's Response: Thank you.
Thank you for a wonderful story. I enjoyed it very much :)
Author's Response: Thank you for reading. I am so glad that ou enjoyed it.
Ahhhh! It's finished!!
I really enjoyed following your story, thank you for a brilliant piece of work.
Author's Response: Thank you for reading. Most of all thank you for reviewing, it means a lot, LOL.
What a truly fitting ending. The park and the Doctor's extended family and fishing! Thanks for a well crafted adult themed story and one that I will read again.
Author's Response: Thank you, I mean it, Thank you.
This is definitely your best chapter yet. I cried when the Banik girl's mother told the Doctor thank you outside the courthouse, and again when the Doctor went to that room inside the compound. This is by far the most moving and emotional fic that I've read, and it seems strange to feel sad getting to the end, but I'm sad that there's only one chapter left. It really feels like I've been on a long journey with all the characters.
Author's Response: Thank you and I know how you feel. I started writing this a year ago. It had like 19 chapters and then it took off on its own and grew. I am going to miss them. I have to figure out a way for the kids to grow up.
I'm so pleased to see the Doctor and River finally reuniting and getting past all the guilt and other baggage that is between them. And good for the Doctor for staying and standing up, even though he wanted to run. If anything could keep him from running like he usually does, it would be doing it for the children.
I got chills, I am near tears. But wow. Amazing grace how sweet the sound...Just damn what a moving chapter! Take us home!!
Author's Response: Thank you, I almost hate to post the last part. It is like saying goodbye.
Oh, I cried! That was so emotionally wrought and beautifully executed!
Author's Response: Thank you,you have no idea how much that means to me. I can\'t believe just the epilogue is left
