So the other day I read your sweet story and even tho I am a 10/Rose fan I loved it. And then today I saw this and it made me thing of what you had written. I hope you will enjoy it as well. :) http://www.google.ca/search?q=rose+and+the+doctor+fanfiction&client=safari&hl=en&biw=768&bih=900&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAWoVChMIk6-Y0MDjyAIVwdIeCh3iNQF0
I smiled, I sighed, I laughed and I cried. This was very sweet. Just when you think 11 has forgotten/moved on....there's a small mention or thought that tells you, there is no forgetting, just a little healing. Excellent story! Thanks for that!
Oh, don't mind that messy red stain on the floor, that was just my heart (singular).
Angsty. Romantic. Heart wrenching.
Perfection.
Again.
Author's Response: Thank you!
you suck for that lovely bit of toture
Author's Response: Lol, sorry about that!
Sniff, sniff...dammit, you made me sniffle.
Author's Response: Ooh, sorry about that!
See, now you've done it -- I had to go and make an account, just so I could review this. Mostly because it had me in absolute wretched nose-runny tears, but also because god, it was absolutely lovely. And horribly, horribly, horribly sad. For the Doctor, anyhow. Well. Not totally sad -- the universe was nice enough to let him see Rose again, even if it was out-of-time -- but still.
I didn't want to read this. I don't usually want Eleven and Rose to meet. It feels...weird. He's so broken. I've no doubt she could fix him, but she can't, and it's all painful. But I am so, so very glad that I did read this, because it was absolutely lovely. Really. Beyond the waterworks, it was gorgeous. Thank you for making me finally sign up. ;)
Author's Response: Wow, thanks! What a lovely compliment! And yeah, I agree -- most of the time, I\'m not a fan of Eleven/Rose. I figured, hey, if I was going to break into the angst thing, it\'d be a good place to start. (And hey, thanks for making the new account!)
Wow, that actually made me cry alittle
Author's Response: In a good way, I hope!
That was gorgeous and one of the best Eleven meets dimension traveling Rose fics that I've read. I adore the bit about her and Yeats! I love the idea of that being the reason she doesn't tell anyone her name.
Author's Response: Ooh, thank you much! I\'m glad you enjoyed it. Lol, Yeats, yeah, I couldn\'t resist when I read \"The Rose Upon the Rood of Time.\" And I really like the idea of Rose having her own adventures while she\'s searching for the Doctor.
awwww, bittersweet, hopeful....a good bunch of emotions that you captured all well.
i like how it was within the her time jumps and how at first he isn't sure if he should go to her and she is the one to beckon him.
i like all his observations around him including the drinks, the time lapse rose must have in between, and how she mirrors him in look.
i like how she doesn't question him and his current timeline.
i like how he gives her more than a rose and isn't hesitant to breathe his life into it and that encompasses a lot of meanings (part of which is one-upping her past with mickey, and forever over imposing her future with meta-crisis him) and yet it gets shot down a bit with a painful stab of “A rose that will never wither and die…” yet the situation is able to be diffused with yeats (like that side tale too).
and they go over his last words to her and in a way tries to change them but isn't allowed to be her.
a beautiful work.
Author's Response: Thank you! And thank you for the detailed review!
Beautiful but sad. Brought me to tears. Lovely tho.
Author's Response: Ooh, sorry for the tears -- I was trying to break into angst, since I haven\'t written much of it before. Thanks for the review!
Fantastic, Molto bene, and Cool! Oh and thank you for making me tear up. :)
Author's Response: Ooh, thanks! I don\'t write a lot of angsty stuff -- I\'m glad you enjoyed it.
