1: Chapter 1

Ooh, I love this. This is my new head-canon. Because yes, this had to happen. Had to!

Author's Response: *beams* Thank you! And you can\'t prove it didn\'t happen, so yes, it rather had to! :)

/A gentle smile that somehow made him look like her granddad, which was maybe the weirdest thing so far.
"And then you meet the perfect man and live happily ever after."
"What makes you think it won't be me?"/ awwwwwwwwwww very well done. captured them correctly.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! <3

That was so f_cking good. The best bit was, "What makes you think it isn't me?" I literally saw Matt Smith, saw his hands on her face, saw the way he does his lips in those intense moments, and heard his voice. This was a delight.

(I'd love to read a scene of the Doctor and Rose without their memories but slightly shaken and not knowing why)

Author's Response: *blushes* Thank you so much! And I swear these characters just write themselves... it almost feels weird taking credit for the writing since I can them so clearly. (And good things come to those who wait!)

Beautifully intertwined, the tension, sexual tension, danger, angst and how much both women mean to him. Thank you

Author's Response: Thank *you* for your lovely comment - I love nothing more than to throw people together who\'d otherwise never meet. Very happy that it worked so well for you!

You have performed a Christmas miracle: you wrote a fic that made me like River Song!

This was truly fantastic. It was creative, sentimental, emotional, drew on canon and was all-around... great.

So glad you posted, and so glad I read it!

Author's Response: Oh that is the best miracle ever! *dances* River is one of my alltime favourite characters, so I am more thrilled than you can imagine! :D Also thank you for all your kind words - it was one of those stories that more or less wrote itself... it lived in my head for weeks and weeks, until I finally found the time to write it down. It quite simply wouldn\'t let me be.
