No one wins in the 80s...but this story was made of win!
Amy stared at his back, suspicion building.
And with that one line, this turns into a pretty dark fix. D:
Awesome!!
This is another really great story. I'm really not a fan of Amy/Eleven . . . Unless you're writing it. Because it needs to have that dark edge, that unhappiness, that selfishness and naivete, and that feeling of other-worldliness and then waking up. It needs to have that bit of wrong. You do that and so I believe it. Also, you always have a way of subtly making Amy feel very Human and the Doctor feel alien. Just with their POVs, their assumptions. This, of course, had fantastic individual lines. It also had a good background plot. I love that you looped in some old!Who references. This feels like it is Doctor Who if it were written exclusively for grown-ups. Definitely not a happy story, but a very good one. -Muse
“Remember to bring home a bison,” EPIC WIN with that line! I chuckled my way through this one, as usual. Poor dumb-ass Amy. She pushed the issue, she really had no room to complain. He did TRY to say no. Hee hee! Thanks for another good laugh :D
