I read this minute after "Sometimes" and the impact was a bit like a blow through a down blanket. The depth and fullness, and the offering itself, of trust and love you've written is so powerful: "Sometimes": Sometimes, he wakes Jack up, or Jack wakes him. Coming together in the middle of his shaken night is like coming together in the middle of a battlefield. Orgasm is less pleasure and more desperate comfort. "Maron": Whatever you need, Doctor. You don't have to trust yourself. I trust you."
Author's Response: Thank you. :-)
This is lovely, but what does the title mean?
Author's Response: It\'s the oldest root of the word \"nightmare.\" The goblin that sits on your chest in the middle of the night, giving you terrible dreams.
Thanks for writing! :)
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed! :-)
