I really liked it. I don't understand the ending though.
"Who's the clever girlfriend?" *g*
You're making a dreadfully long airport wait a little better with this story. Thank you!
Author's Response: Oh, I\'m glad. Airport waits are the worst! And you\'ve been waiting a long time - I hope it\'s not much longer!
Here via Calufrax. Stranded in airport & half asllep, but had to say how much I love the Master dropping his spoon & falling out of his chair. :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m glad you like it - and that it\'s entertaining you while you\'re stuck! Hope you get home soon and safely!
Oh. My. Gosh. I just read this entire thing in a single sitting and it is BRILLIANT. At the end, I just sat and traced all the lines and thought of the stories. I can't believe you kept so many storylines straight! And if it was crack!fic, it was the least cracky crack!fic I've read. I loved it. Fantastic, fantastic job.
Author's Response: Thank you! I agree that for crack!fic, it\'s not terribly cracky. But it doesn\'t quite fit any other genre I\'ve seen, and certainly describing it as crack hasn\'t hurt! I\'m glad you enjoyed the story as a whole as well as the individual lines - I had to keep notes to keep them all straight! Thanks for the review!
Ah ha ha ha that was awesome. The Master falls into the Doctor's trap whilst trying his best to get out of it. Love the meta-bingo card, and the twisty plot and all the different characters, just a fun read all around. :D
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m glad you enjoyed it. I wish I could take credit for the bingo card, but that\'s all Tenzo. :)
OMG I was pointed here by the rec on Calufrax and, having just finished chapter 8, am in total awe. I love this story! Your characterization of the Master is brilliant, and the game... oh the game is twisty and timey-wimey and brilliant and I have NO IDEA what's going on but I have a feeling that it will become clearer as I read more. Anyway, so very glad I followed the link!
Author's Response: Thanks, Eve! I\'m glad you like it! (And no worries about not knowing what\'s going on - I don\'t think I figured it out myself until Chapter 10.)
Right, don't say I didn't warn you. It ain't going to be pretty.
[Creaks down on to the one antique knee that will still take it]
Nooooooooooo. You can't leave it like that!!!
Neeeeeeeeeeeed more Master/Lynda with a y.
Pretty please, grovel, beg, will you write a sequel? Please.
[Tries to get up. Has to lean on desk. Nearly knocks cat in to coffee.]
You do realise that if I was said cat I'd be having a wash now?
It is just posible that I liked your fic.
Author's Response: LOL! I\'m glad you liked it! If I could think of a good plot for a sequel, I certainly would write one - but it\'d have to be half as good as this one, and I\'m not sure that can be accomplished! :)
Brilliant story, loved every minute of it. The premise was ingenious and it never lost it's steam. Love that the last square was romance (not quite forgiveness *w*), and that the Master has seemingly found his heart. Oh.... and "I think it was an evil chicken"????? That line still has me grinning.
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m glad you liked it! As for the chicken - trust me. All chickens are Evil. :)
I love it! The Master *Cares* now! Who would ever had thought that could happen? ::grin::
Author's Response: Thanks! I had fun writing it, so I\'m very glad that you had fun reading. :) And certainly, I don\'t think the Master saw that ending coming..... *grin*
*tilts head* Is the last square one where she dies?
I love the way the poor Master is all upset. Well, no, but I think he's adorable.
Also, Master/Lynda would never have been a pairing I thought of, but I like it.
Author's Response: Thanks! I never would have guessed Master/Lynda either - but it works, doesn\'t it? As for the last square....I\'d say that according to the Master, that square is MUCH worse than Lynda dying. MUCH, MUCH WORSE.
Loving this... wonder if the final square is something to do with 'forgiveness' or something all soppy the Master finds so repulsive. Looking forward to seeing where it goes, but don't want the story to end either.
Author's Response: Thanks! No hints on the last square - you\'ll find out soon enough. I\'ve had so much fun writing this, I\'m sorry to see it end as well - but only one chapter left!
Noooooo. How can there be only one chapter left to go! Need more. Have been impatiently awaiting updates but equally do not want this story to end. There could be sooo much mileage in Master and Lynda with a 'y'.
Sequel? Don't make me beg, it ain't pretty.
Well written and I love the cards. Keep up the good work.
Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m glad you\'ve enjoyed the story - believe it or not, but I\'ve had so much fun writing, I\'m sorry to see it end as well!
I leave this fic for a while, and come back and find 10 new chapters. :)
Loving it, as usual.
Author's Response: I\'m tricksy like that. :) I\'m glad you enjoyed your windfall! Stay tuned - we\'re nearly at the end!
Hmmmm...So the Doctor isn't behind this but 10.5 is! (I might be wrong, but it would makes sense.)
Author's Response: Sort of. The Doctor IS behind it, but he\'s put 10.5 (who is the Doctor as well) there as a safe-guard. (Hence the square with \"clones\".) Thanks for the review - I like to see what people are thinking. :)
This is pure genius! I've just managed to get up to date with it. I can't wait to see how this plays out! Fantastic work!
Author's Response: Thank you! I hope you enjoy the rest! :)
