Usually, I tread very, very carefully when reading Tosh/Owen(season2) stories...(It must be obvious why) However this was romantic and introspective in a wonderfully un-squicky way. Owen's response to why he stayed was 100% him. I actually liked this one, good job.
Author's Response: Yeah, l see no reason why one should do anything squicky. Glad you liked it. Thanks for the review.
(here via Calufrax) When I got to the end of this, and "what happens next" hit me, I just -bawled-. It's just a complete gut-punch, in large part because it's so perfectly in keeping with both characters and so understated. It's quiet, and there's so much sorrow and regret and love behind the whole thing. Utterly devastating.
Author's Response: Ahm... I think that was a compliment, and probably a big one, but... I\'m sorry! Well, okay, so, I knew it was sad, but... Wow. Devastating. Really. Thank you so much for telling me!
Here via Calufrax rec. I love stories about these two, and this was a good one.
Author's Response: Thank you.
Here via Calufrax - this captures Tosh and Owen so perfectly. So heartbreakingly beautiful.
Author's Response: I did find those two heartbreaking. Thanks.
this is very good - sad and thoughtful, and deals with owen's deadness in a very interesting way. also his sort of interest in tosh romantically. glad it know it wasn't entirely hopeless - even if it sort of was, in the end.
Author's Response: It was intended as thoughtful, and a kind of ... completion... to their aborted relationship. Thank you.
This is beautiful. Bittersweet, but nevertheless beautiful.
There is a change beetween them after "A day in the Death". Owen is not exactly nice to Tosh, but there is a sort of improvement. Your story is a perfect explanation of his new mood.
All is made with subtelty. Great job ! Thank you.
Author's Response: Ooh! Subtlety! I can think of no higher praise. (And no, I\'m not kidding.)
wuvverly. really like owen and tosh as a kind of couple. i like to believe owen loved tosh and the only reason he didnt do anyhing was cos he didnt want ot hurt her and after he 'died' he would've thought it too lte anyway;( still, fanfic makes it come alive and you did that beautifully;)
Author's Response: Thanks. I thought it was very mildly out of character, \'cause really I don\'t think Owen would ever be that self aware, but maybe... just before the end... Well, who knows?
this is so sad knowing what we all know...
Author's Response: I meant it that way. Thank you.
This was so sweet! and realy sad.
