A perfect fill-in. My brain has declared it canon.

Wow, as the others have said, really successful plot-hole-fillage. Poor k9, makes me so glad for the end of "School Reunion".

Wow - you manage to fill a plot hole and make me sniffle over the tin dog all in one fell swoop. Well done!

Here via a rec on Calufrax.

This is a really intriguing story - nicely explaining Sarah Jane's absence at No 10, but simultaneously leaving a slew of other questions unanswered...

You actually managed to make me almost teary-eyed over a tin dog. *sniffle* Well done, you.

Really like it. It'd be great to see a follow up to this too! (hint hint? ;) )

K-9...! *cries* That was really good, but still so sad. Poor K-9. The "you've been a good dog," part was so sad and sweet.

I lked this a lot! Splendid cross-over story that has the internal logic to succeed - and so much better than 'K9 And Company'! :)
