A refreshing read -- beautifully characterized and conceived. I loved your vision of Torchwood Two and its "leader," who is himself such a well-realized character. My patience for OCs is pretty limited, but he (and Mary) kept me smiling throughout each of the chapters. Love your take on Ianto, his challenge of finding himself and his real life post-Jack, and his readiness to eventually return. All of the voices of our familiar characters are spot-on and expected. I was a bit surprised by Ianto's declaration to Jack in chapter 3 ... seemed a little unexpected at that point ... but it also made me a happy reader and set up a very satisfying ending. :) Really enjoyable; glad I stumbled on it via someone's rec list!
This is great, though I'm a little worried about the alien weirdness near Inverness as its my hometown! lol. Can't wait to read the rest
Just found this today. The first chapter is wonderful!!! I am definitely adding this to my favorites!
Off to read more!
Author's Response: Thank you, I\'m glad you like it! Hope the rest lives up to expectations.=)
About Kevin Smith--He's the guy that directed Clerks, Clerks 2, Mallrats, and the Jay and Silent Bob movies. It's just funny to see his name used for a different person who is nothing like him.
Author's Response: ... Fair enough. I haven\'t seen any of these movies, I simply chose the name because it seemed pretty non-descriptive to me.
This is so absolutely perfect that I'm nearing author-worship. You are the characterization master. I don't think this could be any better.
This is really, really great. I think you've caught Ianto (and everyone else for that matter) very well, especially given how little we know about him. Enjoyed it very much!
Please write more!
Author's Response: I\'m happy you liked it! And I will probably write more, I\'m quite happy with this fandom.=)
