Smiling happily here... this world of yours seems so very right and so very real.
Wonderful! I was so glad to see Jacob back, he's actually one of my favorite OCs out there. I hope Rose and the Doctor plan on spending time with him again.
Author's Response: No doubt about that. I am too attached to Jacob not to come back to him.
This was sweet and thoughtful and funny... altogether beautiful! :-)
Author's Response: Glad you liked it.
I am so impressed with your ability to create a character - Jacob - whose reality is solid; so solid that simply seeing him here in this familiar setting, lifts my spirits. And the setting is now part of my permanent Whoniverse - it probably doesn't look as it does in your mind, but the surety with which you initially created it has ensured a solid, beautiful, three-dimensional landscape in my mind. Monastery, river, hill and fields...they are all guaranteed to bring me a peace of mind that I cherish.
Author's Response: I\'m so glad. It was a delight to revisit the setting and the character.
This line was geat
"It is not cheating to be very good at something." Hehe.
Author's Response: It\'s a point that occurred to me several times after writing both Jacob\'s and Rose\'s complaints about the Doctor\'s cheating at draughts. Was he cheating? Or was he just a whole lot better than they were?
You have a knack to write adventure and you also have a knack to write peaceful scenes like this one.
I really like Jacob, you made him very real to me and I like to know that the Doctor can rely on him as much as he can rely on Rose.
Author's Response: Thank you.
