Romana's voice is spot-on in this. Bravo.
Very nicely done. I just re-watched Destiny last weekend and it was lovely to read this after it was recommended on calufrax.
How beautiful. How perfectly like Romana - weakened and shaken but without hysterics, analytical and acting but touched. I applaud you for managng an emotional story of hurt and comfort without falling to the melodramatic trap. The rapport they have is so true. You know, for all the talk about wanting stronger women as companions, I do sometimes like that they - us - can take this comfort and strength for the Doctor. I like him being there for it.
