I really love this, it's so... comfortable! And you make it very Doctor Who even though none of the tv-characters are there, and your mentions of Rose are just enough to be intriguing and informative at the same time. I'm really curious about John's father, though, especially since his name is John and all... ;~) Did Rose know about the John Smith alias perhaps?
Write more soon, please!
Author's Response: As a matter of fact, I\'ve just added Chapter 5. It will probably answer a lot of your questions. :)
Update soon please!:)
This is definitely different, and very interesting! I'm looking forward to the rest!
Lovely little story and an interesting take on the "Timebaby" thing! Poor John Tyler! He seems to feel both lonely and inadequate, and saddled with the "Tyler Legacy" on top of that. Whoever the anonymous woman is, I applaud her persistance in reaching out to him. He obviously needs some human contact, whether it has a romantic flavor to it or not. Well done!
That's just plain adorable...what would she have expected...because I read a LOT of Timebaby adventures and most of them include Twins or a baby Girl....very rarely do they have a son and I think that this is just fantastically written. Top top....!!!
Author's Response: Thank you very much! She was expecting somebody who was more obviously the Doctor\'s child, like the children in most Timebaby stories -- brilliant, energetic, and talented, probably even Gallifreyan. (That\'s the point of the line about his pulse -- note that the narrator didn\'t notice anything unusual about it.)
Aww... that's so... It's somewhere between sweet and sad, but I can't place my finger on where. Very good, though. You should expand on the theme. I'd be interested to find out where you'd take it. Very good. Cheers!
Author's Response: Thank you!
