18 years of age, I stand six foot two in my carpet slippers and dressing gown. My hobbies include pessimism, Wodehouse and resenting people who want to buy books from me. This is a sadly regular occurrence, because I work in a bookshop.

Still, I live in hope of decamping to university in September and living a life of unbridled poverty and sheer undergraduatness.

I share the common delusion of being a carbon based lifeform, specifically a human being (pan narrans) with a life expectancy of about eighty years. I have yet to uncover the reality, but suspect it to less interesting than even The Da Vinci Code.

And I have only 24 hours to save the world.
