At this exact moment, I’d wager, Fenella Williams is reading first-edition Wodehouse, red boots on the console of a living, time-travelling spaceship whilst a manic, spiky-haired virtuoso in a tight brown suit and dirty cream sneakers is down in the guts of the machine, banging at something with a spanner and blurting out the odd bit of alien technobabble about the dodgy mechanical properties of Trymorgian-made Hygro-Strontium Dispellers. But that’s not where her story begins.
